The ideal group trip

Are you visiting Floraliën Gent with a group? Then we have good news! Groups of 20 people or more enjoy a discounted rate. Whether you come with a club, company or group of friends, we will ensure a smooth and pleasant experience.

Groups of 20 people or more (off-peak: 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.): €18* per person

Groups of 20 people or more (peak: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.): €20* per person

Are you sure about the number of tickets you need? Select your time slot in the ticket shop and choose the “Groups (20 people or more)” ticket. Paid tickets cannot be exchanged or cancelled.

Tickets can no longer be reserved on a provisional basis.

Catering for groups

Halfway along the route, you will find our catering area. Here, you can take a break and enjoy a snack or a drink. Please note that the catering area is only accessible during your visit and cannot be visited in advance. 

We offer various catering options for groups, ranging from breakfast to lunch or afternoon tea. All options and prices can be found in our downloadable brochure. This makes it easy to put together a programme that perfectly suits your needs.

To reserve a catering package for your group, please contact info@floralien.be. Let us know which package you would like and when you would like to book it. The reservation must be confirmed by email.

Primary Education (ages 6 to 12/13)

For pupils in the 4th, 5th and 6th year, Floraliën offers a free workshop called Young Garden Lab. Step by step, they learn how plants are sown, propagated and grown. They also combine gardening with creativity: through a green intervention, pupils discover how they can contribute to building a greener living environment. This workshop is currently fully booked.

Young children can discover Floraliën in a playful way. There are booklets available for ages 6–9 and 10–13. These booklets will be available online and at the information desk.
 

Secondary Education (ages 12 to 18)

We are delighted to invite classes from the 2nd and 3rd stage to the Science Day on Tuesday 5 May 2026 at the GUM and the Botanical Garden in Ghent. During this inspiring and interactive day, pupils discover how science, nature and technology together contribute to a sustainable living environment through a range of workshops.

Young people (12 to 16 years) can also explore Floraliën in an educational way. This booklet will later be available online for printing and preparation. (It will not be available at the information desk.)
 

(Young) Adults (17+ years)

In addition to the spectacular flower and plant exhibition, we also organise numerous extra activities, demonstrations and lectures during the event to make your visit even more enriching.

Depending on the age of your participants, you may still benefit from the youth rate. For adults over 25, the group rate applies (from 20 paying participants).

Guided walks must be requested directly through the guide organisation. For guided walks, we work together with Gentse Gidsen and Gandante. Both offer high-quality guided tours of Floraliën Gent for groups. Would you like to add an extra walk in the surrounding area or the city centre? They can help you with that too!
